Barn Wood Coaster

I cut some barn wood in to 4 inch pieces.  Then I stamped them and added a layer of Annie Sloan clear wax.

Will the wax protect the wood from the liquid? Do you put any on the bottom to protect surfaces? Thanks Love this project.

I did put wax on all sides. I just made them so I am not SURE that they will protect the wood but I THINK it will! :)
