Annie Sloan Paint in my kitchen!!

We moved in to this house in June.  First thing on my list was to redo the kitchen.  It was all black and I needed to lighten it up!

   

I painted the bottom cabinets with Annie Sloan "Old White".  Then I distessed it.

 I painted the island with Annie Sloan "Provence".  I made the top out of old barn wood!  LOVE it!!! 

  There aren't any cabinet doors on the top.  The back is the same color as the island although the lighting in the pictures makes it look different!  

  

 What do you think?  The new light fixtures should arrive any day!  Can't wait to finish my kitchen and move on to my master bedroom!
